I’m Daizsa (day•ja) – an artist & creative based in Portland, Oregon by way of my southern roots & upbringing in Texas & Georgia. My creative practices are photography and writing — experimenting with a range of subjects: nature, people, and places while embracing nostalgia, memory and unobserved beauty to inspire my work.

Between growing up in a household where memories were documented via photos & home videos and spending my childhood summers volunteering at the library — I have a deep love for words and the camera has always found its way to me. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, music and exploring a new sense of home and community in the Pacific Northwest.
